Expectations:
Grading:
Proficient - Meets expectations
Apprentice - Approaches expectations
Novice - Does not meet expectations
Unacceptable - Does attempt to meet expectations
It is expected that parents and students will take ownership of a student’s grade and be diligent in checking Infinite Campus or requesting a weekly progress report from Mrs. Lineman.
Late Assignments:
My goal is to help your child become a successful and responsible student. Encourage your child to use available resources, such as Infinite Campus, Remind text alerts and their student agenda, to keep track of assignments and deadlines.
Make-up Work:
Student Devices Policy:
No personal devices are permitted in classrooms unless designated for activity by the teacher. If a student is using a device without permission, it will be sent to the office.
Backpack Policy:
Due to our small classroom size, only smaller purses or string backpacks are allowed in the classroom.
Cheating and Plagiarism Policy:
Cheating and/or plagiarism are unacceptable. Work that is turned in by individual students must show their own words and their own ideas. If a student cheats or an assignment is plagiarized, they will be required to redo the assignment in order to demonstrate their own understanding of the content. However, they will still receive a zero as a consequence of their decision to cheat. If cheating or plagiarism occurs more than once,, the student may also be issued a detention or other disciplinary actions may
be taken.
